Final Designs

We created 100 trail champion stickers for the WTA staff. They were so popular that the next year we sent one to each of their 5,000 volunteers.

We made a couple of changes first. The WTA letters on the bird’s helmet were added and it was made a rectangle shape, so it could also be used as a bookmark.
I drew everything in Adobe Photoshop using my Wacom Cintiq.

Process and Sketches

They asked for a pose with the bird wearing a helmet and holding a Pulaski axe, which are commonly used for trail work. These are some sketches and alternate designs they chose between.
